First entry...

I thought it might be a nice idea to start a blog for our family with pics, ramblings, etc. This is assuming anyone is interested in what I have to say. Blogging seems self indulgent.

My favorite conversation with Lily today went something like this...
I was backing out of the driveway and ran over something that popped. I muttered to myself, "What was that?"
Lily responded, "Probably the garbage cans, mama. You probably hit them."
At 2.5 years old, she already knows how well I drive.

Speaking of driving, Lily's new favorite thing is to critique my driving skills. As we drive, it's a constant chatter of "careful mama careful CAREFUL" and "slow down" and "toooooooooo fast". She has also started in with John (thank goodness because we all know he is the one who needs her instructions more than I do) and told him over the weekend that he wasn't being careful while driving.
